1ST PLACE:

FUNDED TRADER

The Funded Trader is not the most well-known but it does have the best offering.  It's a reputable firm.  They don't play games with their spreads etc and their challenges give you the most bang for your buck.

  1. The cost of a $50,000 challenge is $289 USD

  2. Allows news trading

  3. You have 35 days to gain 8% in the account to pass phase 1

  4. You have 60 days to gain an additional 5% in the account to pass phase 2

  5. Providing you have not broken any rules, if you are in profit at the end of those days you can have an extension or redo for free

  6. Your challenge fee is fully refunded when you pass

  7. Leverage is 1:200 for the account

  8. Max daily loss is 5%

  9. Max total loss is 10%

  10. You start at an 80% profit share scaleable up to 90%

  11. They will scale the balance of your account up 25% every 3 months providing you show an overall gain of 10% in the account

  12. They will scale you up to $1,500,000

2ND PLACE:

FTMO

Definitely, the biggest and best-known Prop Firm for FOREX.

  1. The cost of a $50,000 challenge is $370 USD

  2. Allows news trading (JUST BE SURE TO PURCHASE A SWING TRADING ACCOUNT)

  3. You have 30 days to gain 10% in the account to pass phase 1

  4. You have 60 days to gain an additional 5% in the account to pass phase 2

  5. Providing you have not broken any rules, if you are in profit at the end of those days you can have an extension or redo for free

  6. Your challenge fee is fully refunded when you pass

  7. Leverage is 1:30 for the account

  8. Max daily loss is 5%

  9. Max total loss is 10%

  10. You start at an 80% profit share (automatically scales up to 90% after your first payment draw)

  11. They will scale the balance of your account up 25% every 3 months providing you show an overall gain in the account

3RD PLACE:

ALPHA TRADER

A much smaller firm than the other two but still great offerings.

  1. The cost of a $50,000 challenge is $300 USD

  2. Allows news trading

  3. You have 30 days to gain 10% in the account to pass phase 1

  4. You have 60 days to gain an additional 5% in the account to pass phase 2

  5. You can NOT extend your challenge if in profit and they do not offer a free redo.

  6. Your challenge fee is fully refunded when you pass

  7. Leverage is 1:100 for the account

  8. Max daily loss is 6%

  9. Max total loss is 11%

  10. You start at an 80% profit share scaleable

  11. They will scale the balance of your account up 25% every 3 months providing you show an overall gain in the account

STEP 2:  Now that you have your Prop Firm Challenge let's get you registered in our system so that we can pass it for you!

PROP FIRM CHALLENGE REQUIREMENTS
In order for us to pass your challenge for you it must be a brand new challenge without any trades having been placed in the account thus far.  As well, it must meet these requirements:
 
1.  They must have at least 1:30 leverage
2.  They must allow the use of Expert Advisors and/or copy trading from one of our other accounts
3.  They must allow trading during news events
4.  They must give you at least 30 days to reach the profit target for phase 1
5.  The profit target for phase 1 is 10% or under
6.  They must give you at least 30 days to reach the profit target for phase 2
7.  The profit target for phase 2 is 5% or under
8.  They allow a max daily loss (and/or drawdown) of at least 5%
9.  They allow a total max loss (and/or drawdown) of at least 10%
10. They have an MT4 or MT5 trading platform​


NOTE: Ideally they offer a free redo and/or extension in the event the account is in profit when the deadline hits (and assuming no rules have been broken).  This is ideal but not required.
